PhD in Social Sciences, Degree in Sociology and Audiovisual Communication and Master in Social Problems from the University of Granada, he has worked at the Universities of Granada, Jaén and UNIA, as well as in various offices and media, including as an investigative journalist in VerificaRTVE, the verification team of RTVE. Accredited by ANECA as Assistant Professor Doctor. In his thesis he investigated the impact of Instagram on the construction of the visual culture of a city (Granada), the first research of its kind in Spain. He teaches at UNIR, UOC and UAH on issues of inequality, research techniques, sociological theories, visual thinking, communication, journalism, information verification and data visualisation. Member of the research groups Nar-Trans (Narrativas Transmediales, at UGR) and PROCOMM (Prospectivas de la Comunicación Multimedia, at UNIR).
