Domingo Barroso Hurtado is a Graduate in Social Education and holds a Master's Degree in Criminality and Social Intervention with Minors. Since 2021, he is Assistant Professor Doctor in the area of Theory and History of Education in the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Extremadura, where he belongs to the research group "Transformative Education for a global and digital society" (SEJ054). Her lines of research focus on Vocational Education and Training policies and Vocational Training for employment, youth and youth transitions and Comparative and International Education. Within her research activity, she has carried out different international research stays at Humboldt-University (2017), University College London (Institute of Education; 2018) and Universidade de Lisboa (2019). In addition, she has participated in different national and international research projects, including "Policies Supporting Young Adults in their Life Course. A Comparative Perspective of Lifelong Learning and Inclusion in Education and Work in Europe" (2016-2019; Horizon 2020) and "Retos y desafíos de la implantación de la Formación Dual en la Formación Profesional Española" (2019-2021).
