Ana Gallego Cuiñas is Professor of Latin American Literature at the University of Granada and Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts since 2021. With a degree and PhD in Hispanic Philology, she also holds a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology. Her research focuses on contemporary rioplatense narrative, autobiographical writing, materialist feminism and transatlantic studies. She has published more than 150 scientific papers and relevant books, including Las novelas argentinas del siglo XXI and Cultura literaria y políticas de mercado. She has been a visiting researcher at international universities such as UCLA, Princeton and Yale. She also leads research projects such as LETRAL and FEMENEDIT, and coordinates the joint master's degree in Latin American Studies with the Université de Toulouse. In the cultural field, she has promoted initiatives such as the ECOEDIT platform and her documentary Mujer, papel y tijera (Woman, Paper and Scissors) received the Silver Biznaga at the Malaga Festival. Her career combines academic rigour with cultural commitment.
