Prudencia Gutiérrez Esteban was born in Badajoz. After completing her doctoral studies, she joined the UEX Faculty of Education as a lecturer in the area of Didactics and School Organisation. She currently teaches in the Faculty of Education degrees, in the field of Educational Technology, teaching innovation and teacher training and is deputy director of the UEx Virtual Campus. Her research career is characterised by her publications in the field of Educational Technology, Teaching Innovation, Teacher Training and Education and Gender, as well as by her contributions to national and international conferences. She has also participated in national and European research projects, such as the IRNET project.
